스테롤 O-acyl transferase(acyl-Coenzyme A: 콜레스테롤 아실 transferase) 1은 SOAT1 [5]유전자에 의해 인체에서 코드되는 효소이다.
기능.
아실-코엔자임 A:콜레스테롤 아실전달효소(EC 2.3.1.26)는 콜레스테롤로부터 콜레스테롤 에스테르를 형성하는 세포내 단백질이다.대식세포와 평활근 세포 내에서 세포질 지질 방울로서의 콜레스테롤 에스테르 축적은 아테롬성 동맥경화 플라크의 초기 단계의 특징이다(Cadigan 등, 1988).[5]
구조와 생물 생성
SOAT1은 막결합 O-acyl transferase(MBOAT) 슈퍼패밀리에 속하는 다발성 일체막 단백질이다.SOAT1의 구조는 아직 해결되지 않았지만 세균성 MBOAT인 DltB의 구조는 다중 막 통과 도메인(TMD)[6]의 복잡한 배치를 시사한다.예측된 SOAT1 TMD의 1차 배열은 지질 이중층 [7]내에 여러 개의 대전 잔류물이 존재하는 것과 같은 많은 특이한 TMD 특징을 나타낸다.이러한 특성은 TMD를 막의 소수성 단계로 통합하는 데 어려움을 줄 수 있으므로 전문 보호자가 필요할 수 있습니다.SOAT1 생성을 돕는 그러한 샤페론의 첫 번째 힌트는 SOAT1 안정성 [8]유지에 분자 샤페론 및 일체막 단백질 삽입효소인 ER막 단백질 복합체(EMC)의 관여를 인식한 것이다.
