표면 항원 CD319 (SLAMF7)는 다발성 골수종 에서 정상 혈장세포와 악성 혈장세포의 강력한 표식이다. CD138(기존 플라즈마 세포 표식기)과 대조적으로 CD319/SLAMF7은 훨씬 안정적이며, 악성 플라즈마 세포를 지연되거나 심지어 냉동 보존된 검체로부터 강력하게 격리시킬 수 있다.[8]
엘로투주맙 은 이 단백질을 표적으로 하는 항체다.
