함수
SEPT2는 SEPT6 및 SEP7과 함께 이질-올리고머화하여 필라멘트를 형성할 수 있다.[7] SEPT2는 C-단자 코일 도메인을 통해 SEPT6와 상호작용했다.[7] 액틴 응력 섬유가 분해되고 세포가 극성을 잃게 하는 원인이 되는 SEPT2, SEP6, SEP7의 녹다운이다. 셉틴, SOCS7, NCK1은 사이토스켈레톤에 대한 DNA 손상 반응을 커플링하는 신호 경로의 일부다.[8]
