라파엘 파타이

라파엘 파타이(Raphael Patai, 1910년 11월 22일 ~ 1996년 ^[1]7월 20일)는 헝가리의 유대인 민족학자, 역사학자, 동양학자, 인류학자이다.

집안 배경

파타이는 1910년 오스트리아-헝가리 부다페스트에서 에디트 파타이, 에렌펠트, 요제프 파타이 ^[hu] 사이에서 태어났다.파타이의 어머니는 나기바라드에서 독일어를 하는 유대인 부모 사이에서 태어났으며, 그는 딸을 헝가리어 학교에 ^[2]보내 마자르 민족주의에 대한 헌신을 표현했다.부모 모두 헝가리와 독일어를 유창하게 구사했고 자녀들에게 헝가리와 ^[2]독일어를 완벽하게 구사할 수 있도록 교육했다.그의 아버지는 저명한 문학가이며 테오도르 헤르즐의 전기를 포함한 수많은 시온주의자와 그 밖의 저작의 저자이다.Jozsef는 1911년부터 1944년까지 유대 정치 문화 저널 Multés jöv,, (과거와 미래)의 창시자이자 편집자로 1988년 부다페스트에서 Jahnos Köbawnai에 의해 부활되었다.요제프 파타이는 또한 헝가리 유대인의 초기 역사를 썼고, 영국 위임통치령 팔레스타인에서 유대인의 정착을 지원하는 시온주의 단체를 헝가리에 설립했습니다.
