POLR2EDNA 유도 RNA 중합효소 I, II 및 III 서브유닛 RPABC1은 사람에서 POLR2E [5]유전자에 의해 암호화되는 단백질이다.
이 유전자는 진핵생물에서 메신저 RNA를 합성하는 역할을 하는 중합효소인 RNA 중합효소 II의 다섯 번째로 큰 서브유닛을 암호화합니다.이 서브유닛은 다른 두 개의 DNA 지향 RNA 중합효소에 의해 공유되며 다른 중합효소 서브유닛에 비해 2배 몰 초과로 존재합니다.이 서브유닛과 간염 바이러스 트랜스활성화 단백질 사이의 상호작용이 증명되어 이 서브유닛을 통해 전사활성제와 중합효소 간의 상호작용이 일어날 수 있음을 시사한다.유사유전자는 염색체 [6]11에 위치한다.
