PDE4D 유전자는 복잡하고 기능성 단백질을 코드하는 최소 9개의 다른 동질 형태를 가지고 있다.이러한 단백질은 혈관 세포를 포함한 여러 세포 유형의 핵심 신호 전달 분자인 두 번째 메신저 cAMP를 분해한다(Dominiczak and McBride, 2003).[OMIM [3]제공]
상호 작용
PDE4D는 미오메갈린[4] 및 GNB2L1과 [5][6]상호작용하는 것으로 나타났다.
임상 관련성
이 유전자의 돌연변이는 무좀증 [7]사례와 연관되어 왔다.
이는 PDE4 억제제의 [8]구토 및 항우울제 효과에 관여하는 것으로 보이는 PDE4의 아형이다.
