초년기

경력

과학

하이델의 연구는 암 연구, 핵의학, 진단방사성 의약품,[1][12][13] 화학요법 및 종양 관련 단핵항체 분야 등 진단 및 치료제 개발에 초점을 맞추고 있다.[14] 그는 최소 20개의 특허를 출원했고, 14개는 출원했다.[2][9][15] 그는 260개 이상의 논문을 발표했다.[2][16] 그의 실험실에서 나온 많은 후보 의약품들이 동물실험에 진보했다.[17][18]

하이델 연구소가 개발한 수산화합물이 겨자노출 후 각막상치유를 강화한 것으로 나타났다. 연구된 화합물로는 올바닐 OH(NDH4409)와 레트로 올바닐 8(NDH4417)이 있다. 수산화물(Hydroxamate)은 ADAM17과 MMPs(매트릭스 금속단백질)의 활성을 감소시켰고, MMPs의 종양세포 표면 유도제인 EMMPRY의 감쇠된 발현을 감소시켰다. 그 결과 상피 슬러닝이 적고, 지하 막대의 보호가 개선되었으며, 부상 후 상피-기질 무결성이 개선되었다.[26]

역사

하이델은 국립화학역사재단 이사회에서 활동한 적이 있으며,[31] 화학사 ACS분과의 이사장을 두 번 역임했다.[6] 하이델은 1979년 화학사의 국가 중심지 창설을 검토하기 위해 ACS에 의해 구성된 태스크포스(TF)를 의장으로 임명한 공로를 인정받았지만,[32] 그 자신은 존 H. 워티즈에게 그 의장을 맡겼다.[33] 1981년 12월 ACS는 필라델피아에 화학사 센터 설립을 승인했다.[32][34] 그는 2007년에 방영된 퍼시 줄리안 '잊혀진 천재'에 관한 NOVA 프로그램의 기고자였다.[2]

헥센코프, 역사, 힐링, 헥세레이에서 펜실베이니아 노섬프턴 카운티의 빌헬름과 세일러 가문에서의 백마술과 흑마술의 전통을 모두 고찰한다. 요한 피터 실로르와[39] 에마누엘 빌헬름과 같은 치유자들은 병을 치료하고 백마법이나 "브라우셰레이"의 전통에서 악을 물리치기 위해 톤, 개인 맞춤 처방, 조작법을 사용했다. 현대 의약과학은 쿡 뿌리와 메이애플 뿌리와 같은 일부 치료법의 사용을 연구했다.[40] 흑마법의 전통은 헥센코프 록에 집중되어 왔다.[41][42][43]

2014년 8월 현재 에너지기업 컨소시엄은 펜실베이니아주 마셀러스 셰일로부터 뉴저지로 천연가스를 운반할 펜동스트 파이프라인을 건설할 계획을 발표했다. 네드와 린다 하이델은 영향을 받을 주민들 중 한 명이다.[48]

2018년 2월 6일부터 펜이스트 파이프라인 주식회사는 파이프라인에 동의하지 않은 사람들의 토지에 대한 통행권을 소유하기 위해 연방 법원에 저명한 도메인 고지를 제출했다.[50] 유명한 도메인 통지를 받은 사람들 중에는 최소한 129명의 뉴저지 지주와[51] 50명의 펜실베이니아 지주가 포함되어 있다.[52][53] 하이델 부부는 제안된 송유관 건설과 그들의 영토에 대한 압류 시도에 적극 반대한다.[54][48][53]
