모던 다이너(Modern Dinner)는 미국 로드 아일랜드의 파우투켓에 있는 역사적인 식당이다.

설명

모던 다이너는 스털링 스트림라이너에서 아직 가동 중인 것으로 알려진 유일한 식당이다. 그것의 프로필은 한때 유선형 버링턴 제피르 열차를 끌었던 1934년 은색 기관차와 닮았다.[2] 지금은 마룬으로 칠해진 그 식당의 지붕은 원래 은색이었다.[3]

뉴욕시의 발명가 롤랜드 스틱니는 이 식당을 디자인했는데, 이 식당은 존 B가 디자인했다. 메사추세츠 메리맥의 저킨스 회사는 1940년에 제조되었다.[3][2] 그 식당은 원래 포투켓의 덱스터 거리 13번지에 놓였다.[3] 1984년 철거를 피하기 위해 현 위치로 이전할 때까지 그 현장에서 운영되었다.[3] 그 식당은 1978년에 국가 사적지에 등재되었다.[1] 등기부에 처음 추가된 식사자였다.[4]
