인터페론유도 GTP결합단백질 MX2 /MXB는 [3] [4] [5] MX2유전자 에 의해 인체에서 암호화되는 단백질 이다.
이 유전자에 의해 코드된 단백질은 핵과 세포질 형태를 가지고 있으며, 다이나믹 패밀리와 대형 GTPases 패밀리의 구성원이다. 핵 형태는 핵 외피 아래의 헤테로크로마틴 영역에 입상 패턴으로 국부화된다. 핵형식의 아미노 말단에는 핵국재신호(NLS)가 존재하지만 대체 번역 개시 코돈을 사용하기 때문에 세포질형식은 결여되어 있다.
항바이러스 활성 이 단백질은 인터페론 알파에 의해 상향 조절되지만 유사한 마이코바이러스 내성 단백질 [5] 1의 항바이러스 활성을 포함하지 않습니다.
