역사

2015년 12월 27일 파트너 및 직원을 위한 베타 버전으로 출시되었으며 2016년 9월 5일에 공개되었습니다.[6][7]인도에서 가장 큰 모바일 네트워크 사업자이며, 42.62크로어(4억 2620만 명) 이상의 가입자를 보유한 세계에서 세 번째로 큰 모바일 네트워크 사업자입니다.[8]

2019년 9월, 지오는 가정용 광대역, 텔레비전 및 전화 서비스를 제공하는 홈 서비스에 광섬유를 출시했습니다.2020년 9월 기준, 릴라이언스 인더스트리는 지오 플랫폼의 지분 33%를 매각하여 ₹ 1.65 라크 크로어(2023년 기준 ₹ 1.9조 달러 또는 미화 240억 달러 상당)를 조달했습니다.

나중에 RIL의 통신 자회사로 계속 이어지던 Infotel Broadband Services Limited는 2013년 1월 Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited(RJIL)로 이름이 변경되었습니다.[11]
