진핵펩타이드 사슬 방출인자 GTP 결합 서브유닛 ERF3B는 인간에서 GSPT2 ^[5]^[6]유전자에 의해 암호화되는 효소이다.

GSPT2는 효모와 인간세포에서 세포주기의 G1에서 S상으로의 전이에 필수적인 역할을 하는 GTP 결합 단백질인 GSPT1(MIM 139259)과 밀접한 관련이 있다.GSPT1은 번역 정밀도의 양의 조절기이며, eRF1(MIM 600285)과의 2진 복합체에서는 폴리펩타이드 연쇄 방출 인자로 기능한다.[OMIM ^[6]제공]
