2012년 로버트 프리즈먼은 이베이에서 손상된 종교 아이콘 100개를 구입해 자살로 조기 사망했거나 자기 파괴적인 생활 방식의 결과로 20세기 유명인사의 초상화를 각각 오버 페인팅하는 작업을 진행했다.초상화는 각각 엽서 크기의 그림이며 종교적인 사당처럼 보이도록 그려져 있다.[4]

현대 생활의 압박에 대처할 수 없고 때로는 곤경에 처한 유명 인사들에게 초점을 맞춘다.

The project portrays 50 men and 50 women from different countries, decades and creative disciplines who include writers Virginia Woolf, Ernest Hemingway, Sylvia Plath, artists such as Mark Rothko, Frida Kahlo, Diane Arbus, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Billie Holiday, actors Judy Garland, Dana Plato, Capucine and Marilyn Monroe as well as members of the “2짐 모리슨, 재니스 조플린, 지미 헨드릭스, 커트 코베인, 에이미 와인하우스 등 27세의 나이로 사망한 뮤지션들의 '7 클럽'이다.[5]
