역사

표절의혹 및 소송

2023년 11월 23일, 온라인에서 제리 리그 에브리싱으로 알려진 유튜버 잭 넬슨(Jack Nelson)은 자신과 케이스 제조업체 디브랜드(dbrand)가 카세티피(Casetify)를 상대로 "티어다운(Teardown)" 제품 라인과 관련된 제품 디자인을 표절한 혐의로 수백만 달러의 연방 소송을 제기했다고[28][29] 발표한 비디오를 업로드했습니다. 이 비디오는 카세티피가 dbrand와 JerryRigEverything의 여러 독점 디자인을 복사하거나 수정한 것임을 밝혔습니다. 넬슨은 카세티피 제품에 포함된 d브랜드 디자인에 포함된 수많은 이스터 에그를 공유했으며, 카세티피의 디자인이 d브랜드의 직접적인 복제품이라는 것을 증명하고 약간의 변경만 가했습니다. 유튜브 동영상이 공개된 지 한 시간도 채 지나지 않아 Casetify 웹사이트는 다운타임을 겪었고,[30] 복구된 후에는 동영상에 포함된 제품을 더 이상 사용할 수 없게 되었습니다.[31] 카세티피는 이후 관련 의혹을 조사 중이라는 성명을 내고 다운타임의 원인이 DDOS 공격이라고 언급했습니다.[32][33]
