아투아
Atua아투아는 마오리족이나 하와이족(쿠푸아 참조)과 같은 폴리네시아 민족의 신과 영혼이다. 폴리네시아어는 문자 그대로 '힘'이나 '힘'을 의미하기 때문에 마력의 개념과 유사하다. 오늘날, 그것은 신의 일신론적 개념에도 사용된다. 특히 강력한 아투아에는 다음이 포함되었다.[1]
아투아가 사모아어로 '신'을 뜻하는 사모아에서 전통 문신은 튜텔라 정령의 교리에 바탕을 두고 있었다.[2][3] 사모아의 우폴루 섬에도 아투아라는 구가 있다.
아투아나 신들도 마오리교의 중심이었다. 마오리의 신념에는 자연과 초자연적인 세계가 하나였기 때문에 종교라는 말은 없었다.[4]
다른 오스트로네시아 문화권에서는 아투아(atua)를 인식하는 것이 폴리네시안아이투, 미크로네시아아니티, 부눈하니투, 필리핀과 타오아니토, 말레이시아와 인도네시아 한투나 안투가 있다.[5]
