액틴 관련 단백질 2는 인간에서 ACTR2 유전자에 의해 인코딩되는 단백질이다.[5]
ACTR2의 구체적인 기능은 아직 결정되지 않았다.단, ARP2/3 복합체의 주요 구성 성분으로 알려져 있다.이 단지는 세포 표면에 위치하며, 적층 액틴 조립과 돌출에 의해 세포의 모양과 운동성에 필수적이다.다른 ISO 양식을 인코딩하는 두 개의 대본 변형이 이 유전자에 대해 발견되었다.[6]
