53 처녀자리(Virginis)는 처녀자리 별자리에 있는 [10]황백색의 단일 별이다.그것은 육안으로 희미하게 보여서 겉보기에는 5.04의 시야를 가지고 있다.[2]연간 시차 변화량 29.49±0.29 mas를 바탕으로 111광년 떨어진 곳에 위치해 있다.[1]이 별은 -12.7 km/s의 태양 중심 방사상 속도로 태양 가까이 이동하고 있다.[4]위치각 162.2°[11]를 따라 284±18 mas/yr의 속도로 천체를 가로지르며 비교적 높은 적정 운동률을 가진다.

그레이 외(2006)은 이 항성에 일반 F형 주계열성과 일치하는 [3]F5.5 V의 별 분류를 할당했다.말라로다(1975년)[12]나 에겐(1955년)과 같은 오래된 연구에서는 F5 III-IV 또는 F6 III-IV의 등급이 열거되어 있어 보다 진화된 상태를 시사했다.[13]13.5km[5]/s의 예상 회전 속도로 회전하고 있으며, 차동 회전을 하고 있는 것으로 보인다.[10]이 별은 거의 30억년[6] 된 것으로 태양의 1.21배[6], 태양의 반지름의 약 3배에 달한다.[7]그것은 약 6,346 K의 유효 온도에서 광권으로부터 태양의 9배[2] 이상의 광도를 방출하고 있다.[6]
