현지에서는 쿠이카로 알려진 털복숭이 또는 털복숭이 긴 털복숭이(Marmosa demerarae)는 디델피과과의 남미 유대목이다.[3][4]그 범위는 콜롬비아 중부, 베네수엘라, 프랑스령 기아나, 가이아나, 수리남, 페루 동부, 볼리비아 북부, 브라질 북부 등이다.[5]이전에는 미쿠레우스과에 배속되었는데, 2009년 마모사의 하위유전자가 되었다.[6]
그것은 일반적으로 안데스 산맥과 주변의 저지대에서와 같이 1,200미터 높이 이하의 열대 다습한 숲에서 산다.그것은 종종 상록수림뿐만 아니라 농경지나 다른 방해를 받는 지역에서 발견된다.[7]
