UD SLF는 후미엔지니어링 1층 버스로 UD트럭스가 만든 반저상 시내버스다.[1] UD의 다른 시내버스는 UD BRT이다.[2] BRT는 SLF와는 달리 관절형 버스로, 강성 버스다.

SLF는 준저층으로부터 이름이 지어진다. (부속적으로, BRT는 버스 급행열차에서 이름이 지어진다.) )

36석, 덴소 에어컨을 갖추고 있으며,[3] 길이는 12m이다.[4]

GH8 엔진은 6기통 8리터 유로 IV 디젤 엔진(터보충전 및 인터쿨링), ZF 6단 자동(2200rpm시 230hp)이다.[5]

ABS(안티 브레이크 시스템), 도어 브레이크 시스템, 중립 버스 정지 및 3점식 안전 벨트가 장착된다.[6][7][8]

이 버스의 제조업체는 UD트럭이다.[9] 시제품의 본체는 볼보버스인 인도에서 만들었지만, 메인 모델의 본체는 볼보/SM 칸나파 JV 공장에서 만든다.[10]

역사

볼보그룹은 2014년 UD버스 프로젝트를 도입했다.[11][12][13][14][15][16][17] UD버스는 볼보버스(Volvo Bus)가 포함되며,[18][19] 시내버스와 코치가 포함된다.[20] UD버스의 시장은 처음에는 인도지만, 마침내 다른 아시아 국가가 될 것이다.[21][22]

2015년 방갈로르의 방갈로레 광역교통공사에서 UD SLF의 프로토타입이 가동되기 시작했다.[23][24]
