스팔딩(2016년 인구: 244명)은 스팔딩 368번과 인구조사국 14번 지방 자치구에 있는 캐나다 서스캐처원 주의 마을이다.스팔딩 초대 우체국장 부인의 출생지인 링컨셔 스팔딩의 이름을 따서 지은 것이다.지역 경제는 농업이 지배하고 있다.[4]

역사

스팔딩은 1924년 3월 11일 마을로 편입되었다.[5]

이 마을에는 두 가지 시유산이 있다.

  • 레이놀드 래프 레지던스는 시 지정 역사 건물이다.재산은 1926년에 건축된 2층 목조 가옥이다.[6]1948년, 레이놀드 랍과 그의 가족은 그 집으로 이사했다.1950년부터 1957년까지 마을 감독관을 지냈고, 1958년부터 1968년까지 국회의원을 지냈다.이 재산은 1971년 존 디펜베이커(John Diefenbaker)가 1972년 개관한 레이놀드 래프 박물관의 본거지 역할을 하기 위해 지역사회에 기부되었다.[7]
  • 스팔딩 유나이티드 교회는 1926년에 지어진 역사적인 목조 교회다.디자인은 고딕 리바이벌과 튜더 리바이벌 요소를 사용한다.[8]

캐나다 통계청이 실시한 2016년 인구총조사에서 스팔딩 마을은 전체 민간주택 152곳 중 112곳에 거주하는 244명의 인구를 기록, 2011년 인구 242곳보다 0.8%가 변화했다.국토면적이 12.18km(0.46제곱mi)로 2016년 인구밀도가 206.8/km2(535.6/제곱mi)로 나타났다.[11]

2011년 인구조사에서 스팔딩 마을은 242명의 인구를 기록했는데, 이는 2006년 인구 237명보다 2.1% 증가한 수치다.대지 면적 1.18km2(0.46제곱 mi)로 2011년에는 인구밀도가 205.1/km2(531.2/제곱 mi)로 나타났다.[12]
