퀼 호수(2016년 인구: 387명)는 캐나다 서스캐처원 주의 레이크사이드 338번 지방 자치구와 인구조사부 10번 지방 자치구에 있는 마을이다.사스카툰에서 동쪽으로 170km, 5번 고속도로에서 레지나에서 북동쪽으로 200km 떨어져 있다.

이 마을은 퀼 호 북서쪽에 위치해 있다.퀼 레이크 습지 단지는 서반구 해안조류보호구역으로 지정된 곳으로 오랜 이동 중에 많은 이주하는 해안조류들이 정차한다.이 때문에 이 마을은 주민들에 의해 "사스캐처원의 구스 수도"로도 알려져 있다.

역사

퀼 호는 원래 랄리로 세워졌는데, 당시의 철도 관계자의 이름을 따서 이름이 붙여졌다.이후 우체국 이름에 부합하도록 퀼 호로 개칭되었다.원래 통나무집이 있던 터를 중심으로 공동체가 만들어졌다.퀼 호는 1906년 12월 8일 마을로 편입되었다.[4]

유산지

퀼 레이크에는 세인트루이스라는 하나의 시유적 건물이 있다. 1907년에서 1913년 사이에 건설된 마이클의 성공회.목조 건물은 고딕 양식의 부흥양식으로 지어졌으며 밭돌기반이 있다.이전에는 퀼 레이크 유나이티드 교회와 퀼 레이크 감리교회로 알려져 있었다.이 건물은 2000년에 문화재로 지정되었다.[5]

캐나다 통계청이 실시한 2021년 인구총조사에서 퀼 호수는 전체 민간주거 213개 중 188개 지역에 377명의 인구가 거주하고 있어 2016년 인구 387개에서 -2.6%의 변화가 있었다.국토면적이 1.32km2(0.51sqmi)로 2021년 인구밀도가 285.6/km2(739.7/sqmi)에 달했다.[8]

2016년 인구총조사에서 퀼호마을은 전체 민박 228채 중 193채에 387명이 거주하고 있어 2011년 인구 409채에 비해 -5.7%의 변화가 있었다.국토면적이2 1.3km(0.50sqmi)로 2016년 인구밀도가 297.7/km2(771.0/sqmi)에 달했다.[9]
