PPIP5K2디포스포이노시톨펜타키스인산인산화효소2는 사람에서 PPIP5K2 유전자에 의해 암호화되는 단백질이다.[5]

이노시톨 인산염(IPs)과 디포스포이노시톨 인산염(PP-IPs)은 세포 신호 분자로도 알려져 있다.
HISPPD1은 각각 고에너지 피로인산 PP-IP5 및 PP2-IP4(IP8이라고도 함)를 생성하는 IP6 키나제(EC 2.7.4.21)와 PP-IP5 키나제(EC 2.7.4.24) 활성을 가지고 있다(Fridy Et Almed, 2007).
