골든트라이앵글몰(Golden Triangle Mall)은 미국 텍사스주 덴튼의 루프 288과 I-35E의 교차점에 위치한 폐쇄형 단층 쇼핑몰이다. 7개의 현재 앵커, 플레이스 플레이스, 총 76만4719평방피트(71,044.7m2)의 임대 가능한 바닥 면적을 포함하고 있다. 앵커는 로스 드레스 포 레스, 콘스, H&M, JCPenney, 반스 앤 노블, 피트니스 커넥션, 딜라드 등이다.

새로운 푸드코트, 새로운 센터코트, 공연장, 쇼핑몰 와이드 와이파이, 충전소가 있는 새로운 좌석 공간 등 편의시설을 추가·재구축하여 쇼핑몰을 완전하게 재건축하는 대대적인 개보수가 2012년부터 시작되었다. 이 쇼핑몰은 이후 버클, 샬롯 러세, 토리드, 주미에스 등 신규 유통업체와 코너 베이커리, 타코 카바나, 토부 아시아, 이탈리아 익스프레스 등 신규 매장을 유치했다.[1] 이 쇼핑몰의 소매상들은 JCPenney, Dillard's, Victoria's Secret, Hot Topic을 포함한 그들의 상점과 상점을 개조했다.[2][3][4]

역사

골든 트라이앵글몰은 1980년 덴튼 카운티 최초의 폐쇄형 쇼핑몰로 문을 열었다. 이 쇼핑몰은 1980년대에 번창했지만 1989년 훨씬 더 큰 비스타 리지 몰이 I-35E 바로 남쪽에 있는 루이스빌에 문을 열면서 어려움을 겪기 시작했다.[8] 이 쇼핑몰은 대학가라는 이유로 덴튼의 저소득층에 시달리기도 했다.[8] 덴튼몰은 1999년 골든 트라이앵글을 사이먼 프로퍼티 그룹에 매각했다. 2000년에 골든 트라이앵글은 새로운 바닥 타일, 업데이트된 출입구, 화장실 시설, 쇼핑몰 그래픽 등 350만 달러의 내부 보수 공사를 겪었다.

2006년 4월, 실적이 저조한 이 쇼핑몰은 약 4000만 달러에 팔렸고, 3천만 달러 이상을 개조하는데 투자할 계획이었다.[9] 펠드먼몰 부동산의 매각과 레이조르 랜치 타운 센터의 향후 개발로 인해 리노베이션 계획이 중단되었다. 2010년 6월 대부업체 JPMorgan Chase & Co.는 Feldman Mall Properties가 JPMorgan의 2006년 Feldman에 대출한 자금 2500만 달러를 회수하기 위한 압류 경매에서 골든 트라이앵글 몰을 매각할 의사를 발표했다.[10][11] 2010년 9월 1일, Cencor Realty Services와 The Weitzman Group이 쇼핑몰의 관리 및 임대를 인수하였다.[12]

2012~2014년 버클, 샬롯 러세, 바디 센트럴 등 신규 매장을 포함해 쇼핑몰을 새롭게 단장했다.

앵커이력

쇼핑몰의 앵커로는 반스앤노블, 콘스, 딜라드, 피트니스 커넥션, JCPenney, H&M, 로스 드레스 for Less 등이 있으며, 메이시스가 마지막으로 입주한 앵커는 한 명이다. 메이시 워드는 2001년까지 몽고메리 워드였고, 폴리는 2003년부터 2006년까지였다.[13][14] 피트니스 커넥션은 서비스 머천다이징에 정식으로 점령되어 후에 DSW가 되었고, 로스는 이전에 비올스였고 딜라드 맨스 매장은 1989년까지 러셀의 가게였다.[15][16]

2015년 3월 의류매장 H&M은 올해 말 쇼핑몰에 23,000평방피트의 매장을 설립할 예정이라고 발표했다.[5]

2018년 5월 31일, 시어스는 전국 72개 점포를 폐쇄하는 계획의 일환으로 문을 닫을 것이라고 발표했다. 그 가게는 2018년 9월 2일에 문을 닫았다.[17]

2019년 8월, DSW는 덴튼 크로싱 웨스트의 한 공간으로 이전하는 것을 선택하면서 55,606개의 공간에 대한 임대 계약을 갱신하지 않을 것이라고 발표했다. 그 후 이 공간은 2020년 4월에 문을 연 피트니스 커넥션에 의해 임대되었다.[18]

콘스 홈플러스는 2020년 1월 구 시어스의 약 4만5000평방피트를 임대했지만 COVID-19 대유행으로 인해 그 해 7월까지 개점이 연기됐다.[19]

2021년 1월 6일, 전국 46개 점포를 폐쇄하는 계획의 일환으로 메이시스가 문을 닫을 것이라고 발표하였다.[20] 그 가게는 2021년 3월 21일에 영구 폐점했다.
