10개의 류신-글리신-아스파라긴 반복으로 LGN이라고도 불리는 G단백질 신호변조기 2는 GPSM2 ^[5]^[6]^[7]유전자에 의해 인체에서 암호화되는 단백질이다.

기능.

헤테로트리머 G 단백질은 세포 표면 수용체에 의해 수신된 세포 외 신호를 통합된 세포 반응으로 변환한다.GPSM2는 G 단백질의 활성화를 조절하는 단백질 그룹에 속한다(Blumer et al., 2002).[OMIM ^[7]제공]
