에도주는 열대 기후로 습하고 건조하며 연평균 기온은 28.78°C(83.8°F)이며 나이지리아 평균보다 -0.68% 낮습니다.에도는 일반적으로 약 183.49 밀리미터 (7.22 인치)의 강수량을 받고, 매년 265.91일 (72.85%)의 비가 내리고 해발 239.16 미터 (784.65 피트)의 고도에 있습니다.[28]

각 주의 선거제도는 수정된 2원제를 사용하여 선택됩니다.1차 투표에서 당선되기 위해서는, 후보자는 주 지방 정부 구역의 3분의 2 이상에서 복수 득표와 25% 이상의 득표율을 얻어야 합니다.문턱을 통과한 후보가 없을 경우 1위 후보와 다음 후보 간 2차 투표를 진행해 지자체 최다 득표 지역에서 다수표를 획득하게 됩니다.[39]

영어는 주의 공용어입니다.주에서 사용되는 주요 부족 언어는 에도어, 에투노어, 에타코어, 에산어, 아케이에브부어, 옥파메리어 등입니다.[40]에도 주에는 에도, 옥페, 에산, 아펜마이, 아코코, 이그방케, 에마이 등 여러 민족이 살고 있습니다.[41][42][43]

에도 주의 에타코/아페마이족은 이슬람 교도의 인구가 가장 많습니다.그들은 주 내의 6개 지방 정부 지역에 살고 있으며 그들의 주요 직업은 농사입니다.[41]
