엑토뉴클레오시드3인산디포스포히드로라아제5는 ENTPD5[5][6][7]유전자에 의해 인체 내에서 코드되는 효소이다.
ENTPD5는 E형 뉴클레오티드가수분해효소(NTPases)/엑토-ATPase/아피라아제(apyrase)와 유사하다.CD39와 같은 NTPases는 세포외 뉴클레오티드의 이화 작용을 매개한다.ENTPD5에는 NTPase의 [7]특징인 4개의 아피라아제 보존 영역이 포함되어 있습니다.
