어트랙틴은 ATRN ^[5]^[6]^[7]유전자에 의해 인간에게 암호화되는 단백질이다.

어트랙틴은 11족 C형 렉틴이다.

이 유전자에 대해 서로 다른 아이소폼을 코드하는 여러 전사 변이체가 존재한다.아이소폼 중 하나는 비만 조절에 관여하는 수용체인 마우스 마호가니 단백질과 배열 유사성을 가진 막결합 단백질이다.다른 아이소폼은 염증 반응 동안 초기 면역 세포 집단에 관여하는 분비 단백질로, 케모카인의 ^[7]화학작용을 조절할 수 있다.
