논란

슈는 2016년 라이더 위상과 회사손실 논란 속에 개인 봉급을 22.5% 인상한 연 12만5000파운드(약 1억5000만원)[13]로 올려 비판을 받았다.신규 직원 채용, 런던 사무소 신축 등 행정비용은 2880만 파운드에서 1422만 파운드까지 증액돼 손실이 컸다.[14]게다가 슈는 이사들과 수백 명의 다른 본사 직원들에게 450만 파운드 가까운 주식 보너스를 주었다.[13][15]

Deliveroo는 영국에서 사업모델에 대한 법적 도전에 직면한 많은 경제 기업들 중 하나이다.배달부를 상대로 한 소송에는 45명의 기수가 참여했다.[16]
