독성 과립

독성 과립은 과립세포, 특히 중성미자 등에서 염증성 질환이 있는 환자에게서 발견되는 검붉은 굵은 과립을 말한다.[1]

임상적 유의성

과립세포의 세포질에서 다른 두 가지 발견물인 Döhle 신체와 독성 퇴색증과 더불어 독성 과립은 염증 과정을 암시하는 말초혈액막이다.[1] 독성 과립은 박테리아 감염과 패혈증을 가진 환자들에게서 종종 발견되지만,[1][2] 그 발견은 특별하지는 않다.[3] 화학요법이나[3] 시토카인 약인 과립세포 군집 자극요소로 치료받는 환자도 유독성 과립을 보일 수 있다.[2]

구성

독성 과립은 주로 과산화수소효소와 산수화효소로 구성되며,[3] 프로밀로모세포와 같은 미성숙 과립세포에서 발견되는 1차 과립과 구성이 유사하다.[4][5] 정상적이고 성숙한 중성미자는 일부 일차적인 과립을 포함하고 있지만, 과립은 세포가 성숙함에 따라 검푸른 색을 잃기 때문에 가벼운 현미경으로 식별하기 어렵다. 따라서 독성 과립은 중성미자의 비정상적인 성숙을 나타낸다.[6]

유사조건

유전적 질환인 알더-릴리 이상증 환자는 중성미자에 매우 크고 암울하게 얼룩진 과립을 보이며, 이는 유독성 과립과 혼동될 수 있다.[2][7]
