소게티는 캡게미니의 기술 및 엔지니어링 서비스 부서다.소게티 그룹은 현지 전문 서비스 전문 정보기술 컨설팅 기업으로, 파리에 본사를 두고 15개국 300여 개 지사에 2만5000여 명을 고용하고 있다.[1][2]현재 CEO는 스테판 에크(Stefan Ek)이며,[3] 2011년 회사 매출액은 15억 유로였다.[4]

역사

소게티는 캡제미니 그룹 전체의 원래 이름이었다.그 이름은 대략 "비즈니스 관리 및 정보 처리 회사"[5]를 의미하는 "Société de Genetion des Entreprises et Traitment de l'Information"의 약자였다.

2002년 캡 제미니 그룹은 국내 IT 시장에 주력하기 위해 6개국에 소게티라는 자회사를 설립했다.[6]2008년에 소게티 UK는 소프트웨어 테스트에 집중하기 위한 목적으로 소프트웨어 테스트 회사인 비주리를 인수했다. 현재 소게티 UK는 600명 이상의 직원을 두고 있다.[7][8][9]

2010년 캡제미니사는 소프트웨어 테스트 자원을 소게티와 통합했다.[10]소게티 대학원 제도는 비기술 졸업생들이 기술 분야에 진출할 수 있도록 한다.[11]

소게티 USA는 22개 사무실에 약 2,300명의 직원을 두고 있다; 2010년에 그들의 수입은 약 3억 7천 5백만 달러였다.[12]2013년, 소게티는 워싱턴 주에서 일하는 10대 기업에 뽑혔다.[13]

주목할 만한 프로젝트

소게티는 2013년 네덜란드 정부의 지원을 받는 방사선정보통신국을 위해 맞춤형 데이터 시스템을 구축했다.이 시스템은 비즈니스 인텔리전스 효율성을 향상시키기 위해 고안되었다.[14]
