셀릭스 비치(Sellick's Beach)는 이전에 셀릭 해변의 철자를 썼던 곳으로, 애들레이드 도심에서 약 47km(29mi) 떨어진 애들레이드 대도시권 내에 위치한 호주 사우스 오스트레일리아의 교외 지역이다.[4] 아델라이데 외곽의 외곽 교외지로서 수도권의 남쪽 경계에 있는 온카파링가 시의 지방 정부 지역에 위치한다.[10][11] 카우르나족인 전통주인에게 위타왈리 또는 위타워들리로[12] 알려져 있으며, 창조자인 질브루케의 눈물로 만들어진다고 하는 담수천의 현장이라는 점에서 의의가 있다.[13]
해변은 알딩가 만 안에 있다. 교외는 버튼 로드(Button Road)로 북쪽을 경계로 하고, 동쪽은 메인 남로(Main South Road)로, 남쪽은 윌룽가 백의 지적 단위의 경계로, 서쪽은 알딩가 만과 함께 해안선을 경계로 하는 땅으로 구성되어 있다.[1] 2016년 호주의 인구조사에서 셀릭스 비치는 2,616명의 사람들이 그 경계 내에 살고 있다고 보고했다.[2]
역사
남호주 남부의 영국 식민지화 이전에 셀릭스 비치 지역은 애들레이드 평원 지역의 대부분과 플뢰리외 반도의 서쪽 아래쪽에 있는 카우나족이 거주하고 있었다. 에스플라네이드의 프란시스 거리 끝에는 기념 현판이 붙어 있는 크리에이터 조상인 틸브루크의 카우르나 드림링과 관련된 유의미한 유적지가 있다. 이것은 남호주 십육주년인 1986년에 Tgilbruke Dreaming Track의 일부로 공개되었다.[14]

설명 및 시설
우체국, 식당, 도매 보육원이 있다. 셀릭스 비치도 알딩가 비치에서 가깝고, 두 개의 주유소, 두 개의 슈퍼마켓, 두 개의 빵집, 의사의 수술, 두 명의 화학자와 다른 다양한 상점들이 있다.[citation needed]
해변의 자동차
빠르면 1917년에 해변에서 조직된 오토바이 경주가 개최되었는데, 1953년까지 매년 여름 동안 스피드 시련이 열렸으며 1986년과 1992년 모두 재연되었다. 연간 경주는 20년 무활동 기간을 거쳐 2017년 재개됐다.[17][18]
자동차를 해변으로 운전하는 것은 주민들에게는 무료로 허용되며, 비거주자에게는 소정의 요금이 부과된다.[19]
