NGC 6925는 겉보기 등급 11.3의 현미경자리 안에 있는 금지되지 않은 나선 은하다.그것은 렌즈 모양인데, 지구상의 관찰자들에게 거의 가장자리에 놓여 있기 때문이다.알파 현미경의 서북서쪽 3.7도에 위치한다.[3]
NGC 6925의 II형 초신성인 SN 2011ei는 2011년 7월 뉴질랜드의 스튜 파커에 의해 발견되었다.[4]
