NGC 6541(Caldwell 78이라고도 함)은 코로나 오스트랄리스의 남쪽 별자리에 있는 구상 성단이다.약 140억년 전으로 추정된다.[6]
구상 성단은 1826년 3월 19일 시칠리아의 팔레르모 천문대에서 니콜로 카치아토레에 의해 발견되었다.그것은 1826년 7월 3일 제임스 던롭에 의해 독립적으로 발견되었다.
성단은 94개의 푸른색 스트래글러 별을 가진 비교적 작다.[7]
