한국의 홍합[2][3] 또는 단단한 껍질의 [4]홍합인 Mytilus [1]unguiculatus는 홍합과의 해양 이매패류 연체동물이다.[1]이 종은 한국과 [4]중국에서[2] 마리화나를 통해 식용으로 많이 이용되고 있다.그것은 또한 전형적인 거시적 오염 유기체이다.
분포 및 서식

이 종은 아열대 서태평양 연안에서 발견되며 중국, 일본, 한국, 러시아 극동 연안의 온대 지역에 서식한다.그것은 북쪽의 피터 [3]만까지 황해와 일본해에서 발견된다. 일본해이 홍합은 일반적으로 연하대 [3]상부에 서식한다.M. unguiculatus는 2011년 도호쿠 [5]해일의 것으로 추정되는 밴쿠버 섬 근처의 잔해에서도 발견되었다.
