무디게레는 인도 카르나타카 주의 치카마갈루 지구에 있는 판차야트·탈루크 마을이다.[1] 구청 본사에서 30km 떨어져 있다.

가장 가까운 공항은 128km(80mi)의 거리에 있는 망갈로레에 있다.[2] Mudigere는 커피와 후추 생산으로 유명하다.[3][4][5]

지리와 기후

인구통계학

2001년 인도 인구조사를 기준으로 무디게르의 인구는 8,962명이다.[7] 남성은 인구의 51%, 여성은 49%를 차지했다. 무디게르는 평균 문해율이 82%로 전국 평균 59.5%보다 높았다. 남성 문해율은 85%로, 여성 문해율은 79%로 나타났다. 2001년 무디게레에서는 인구의 10%가 6세 미만이었다.[citation needed]

관광명소

메카나가드 인근 베타다 바이와레스화라와 구티 인근 데바라마네 주 무디게레에서 남쪽으로 25㎞ 떨어진 비라푸라(호사케레) 인근 난야다 바이와레스화라 사원은 무디게르의 인기 관광지다.[9] Sunkasale grama 근처의 Ballalayana Durga 또는 Durgada Betta는 또 다른 트레킹이자 관광 명소다.[10][better source needed] 고티게하라에서 칼라사까지 여행하면 커피 농장과 무디게레 탈룩의 푸른 언덕을 황홀하게 체험할 수 있다. 샨카라 폭포는 무디게레 근처에 위치해 있다.[11]
