리사 챔버스(1986년 8월 24일생)는 아일랜드의 피아나 파일 정치인으로, 2020년 6월부터는 시아나드 아이레안의 부대표, 시아나 파일의 지도자 등을 역임한 전직 변호사다.앞서 2016년부터 2020년까지 마요 선거구에서 티치타 달라(TD)로 활동한 바 있다.[1]

조기생활과 교육

체임버스는 캐슬바 출신이야그녀는 그 마을에서 변호사 생활을 했다.킹스 인스(King's Inness)에서 전문 술집 자격, 대학교에서 상법 석사, 더블린(UCD), NUI Galway(NUI Galway)에서 상법 대학원 학위를 취득했다.[2][3]

그녀는 2011년 메이요 선거구의 총선거에서 낙선했다.[4]그녀는 2014년 지방선거에 이어 메이오 군의회에 선출되었다.[5]

체임버스는 중등학교 시절 10대에 입대해 13년간 예비군(RDF) 소속이었다.2012년 11월 육군예비대에서 장교로 임관해 제6보병대대대인 D사(캐슬바)로 전입한 직후 제1기갑기병대대대대(커라 캠프)에서 2중위로 복무했으나 다일로 당선되자 장교직을 사임했다.[6][7]

TD

2016년 총선에 이어 마요 선거구의 피아나 파일 TD로 당선됐다.그녀는 동료 Fianna Fail 정치인들 Frank[8] Chambers나 Jack Chambers와 관련이 없다.[9]

그녀는 2016년 5월 18일 피아나 파일 앞 벤치에서 국방대변인으로 임명되어 제32대 다일의 세안 콤하일레로 선출된 세안 O Fearghaile의 뒤를 이었다.[10]그녀는 나중에 개각에서 브렉시트 포트폴리오를 받았다.

다일 4년 만에 2020년 총선에서 의원직을 잃었다.

상원의원

2020년 시나드 선거에서는, 체임버스가 문화 교육 위원회의 상원의원으로 선출되었다.[11]그녀는 시네드에서 외교 및 유럽 문제에 관한 피아나 파일 대변인이다.

논란

체임버스는 2018년 11월 29일 건강(임신중절 규정) 법안 2018을 주제로 한 다일 토론회에서 "낙태 후회는 지어낸 것이며 존재하지 않는다"[13]고 밝혔다.며칠 후 그녀는 자신이 야기시킨 상처에 대해 사과했고 자신의 논평이 맥락에서 벗어난 것이라고 말했다.[14]

2019년 10월 17일, 체임버스는 임업법 개정안에 대한 투표에서 당 동료인 다라 칼레리와 자신을 대신하여 투표한 것으로 나타났다.[15]

12월 선데이 인디펜던트는 체임버스가 티미 둘리 자리에 50분 동안 앉아있는 모습을 담은 2019년 1월 17일자 영상을 발견했고, 7표를 기록했지만, 화면에는 보이지 않았지만 체임버스의 자리에서도 투표가 기록됐다.[16][17]

그녀는 이 지역에서 휴대폰 로밍 요금이 폐지된 지 2년 후 EU를 여행하면서 전화 로밍 요금에 대해 하루 25유로를 청구하는 것으로 밝혀진 다수의 TD 중 한 명이었다.그녀는 EU 여행 중 '일일 전화 수당'으로 총 525유로를 청구했다.[18]

2020년 2월, 챔버스는 가능한 가장 짧은 여정보다 35km 더 긴 오이라크타스로 가는 길을 선택하는 것을 옹호하면서, 그녀를 여행 수당 테이블의 "밴드 9"에 올려놓았고, 그녀의 연간 수당을 1,350유로 인상했다.[19]

몇 달 후 챔버스는 2020년 4월과 5월에 6626유로의 비용을 받은 것으로 밝혀졌으며, 이 기간 동안 시나드는 COVID-19 전염병으로 인해 문을 닫았다.[20]
