Leather and LGBTQ Cultural District
좌표: 37°46′26″N 122°24′45″W / 37.7739571°N 122.4125042°W/ Rede and LGBTQ Cultural District는[1] 약 반세기 동안 이 지역에서 활동한 가죽 하위 문화의 역사와 문화를 기념하는 샌프란시스코 남부시장(SOMA)의 문화지구다.샌프란시스코 감독위원회는 2018년 5월 9일 시장이 법률로 서명한 법률로 이 지역을 설립했다.[1][2]리본[3][4][5] 커팅은 그 해 6월 12일에 Studd 밖에서 그것을 위해 열렸다.[6][7]
이 지역은 북서쪽의 하워드 성, 북동쪽의 7번 성, 동쪽의 I-80 그리고 남쪽의 US 101에 의해 대략 경계를 이루고 있다.5번가와 6번가 사이에서도 해리슨과 브라이언트의 외침이 펼쳐진다.[8]2017년 문을 연 '마켓 가죽 역사 골목'의 샌프란시스코 남부 지역도 포함돼 있다.[9][10]
구는 "시장 남쪽에 특색 있는 문화와 매력을 부여한 국민과 장소, 기관에 경의를 표하고 기념하며, 남은 기업과 공간을 보호하고, 그곳에서 살고 일하고 재창조하는 사람들을 지속시키는 데에도 도움이 될 것"[11]을 목적으로 한다.
