이니슈쿠(Irish: Iris: Inis Cou)[2]는 아일랜드 도니갈 카운티 해안에 있는 작은 섬이자 타운랜드다[1]. 본토에서 가장 가까운 도시는 버튼포트다.

지리

이 섬은 아르란모어 동쪽 약 1.5km, 작은 섬 이이터의 남서쪽에 위치해 있다. 두 섬은 모두 즐거운 모래언덕으로 알려져 있다.[3] 이니슈쿠의 내부는 주로 암석(그란나이트)으로 작은 호수를 품고 있다.[4]

역사

20세기 초에는 작은 공동체가 이니슈쿠에 살았었다.[5][6] 오래된 집들 중 일부는 휴가지로 쓰이고, 가장 큰 것은 섬의 남서쪽에 있는 옛 해안 경비대 건물이다.[4]
