《캐주얼 》은 1986년 9월 6일부터 영국 BBC One 에서 방영되고 있는 영국의 의학 드라마 입니다.[1] 이 시리즈는 제레미 브록 과 폴 언윈 에 의해 만들어졌으며, 똑같이 가상의 마을인 홀비 에 기반을 둔 가상의 홀비 시립 병원 사고 응급실 의 의료진과 보조 직원들의 직업적이고 개인적인 허구적인 삶에 초점을 맞춥니다.[1] 이 드라마는 세계에서 가장 오래 방영되는 황금 시간대 및 응급 의학 드라마입니다.[2] 2011년부터 카디프 의 로드락 스튜디오 에서 촬영을 시작할 때까지 브리스톨 시에서 주로 촬영되었습니다.[3] 이 쇼는 1,500편 이상의 에피소드로 37편의 풀 시리즈를 방영했으며 현재 38편 의 시리즈를 방영하고 있습니다.[4] [5] 브록과 언윈은 국민보건서비스 (NHS)에서의 삶의 "코미디와 영웅"에 영감을 받아 이 시리즈를 고안했고 쇼를 통해 논란이 많은 주제들을 다루었습니다.[1] 1999년부터 방영되기 시작한 스핀오프 시리즈인 홀비 시티 는 병원의 외과 병동으로 옮겨진 후 환자들의 이야기를 따릅니다.[6] 2007년 5월 8일부터 경찰의 절차 에 따라 방영된 Holby Blue가 2개의 시리즈로 방영되다가 저조한 시청률로 인해 방영이 취소되었습니다.[7]
이 시리즈는 일반 및 반복되는 캐릭터의 앙상블 캐스트 를 특징으로 합니다. 첫 번째 시리즈에서 10명의 주인공으로 시작하여 데릭 톰슨 이 연기한 찰리 페어헤드 간호사가 2024년까지 출연하여 가장 오래 복무한 출연진이 되었습니다.[8] 쇼가 시작된 이래로, 등장인물들은 시리즈 안팎에서 쓰여졌습니다.[9] 또한 Costal 은 스토리 아크에 등장하는 반복되는 캐릭터뿐만 아니라 각 에피소드에 여러 게스트 아티스트가 등장합니다.[10] 쇼에 출연하는 많은 고정 출연진들은 이전에 Costal 과 Holby City 모두에서 환자와 스태프로 사소한 출연을 했습니다. 2004년, 캐스팅 디렉터들은 1998년과 2000년 사이에 마취과 의사 줄리 데이(Julie Day)로 반복되는 배역을 맡은 후, 정기적인 매기 콜드웰(Maggie Coldwell) 역할을 위해 수잔 쿡슨(Susan Cookson )을 고용했습니다.[11] 캐쥬얼 의 캐릭터들은 스핀오프 시리즈인 Holby City 와 Holby Blue에 등장했고 그 반대의 경우도 있습니다. 대부분의 캐릭터들은 게스트 스타일 뿐이지만, 일부는 고정 출연진이 되었습니다. 제이 제이콥스(Jaye Jacobs )는 홀비 시티(Holby City )에서 12년 동안 근무한 후 2023년에 도나 잭슨(Donna Jackson )으로 커스터디 에 합류했습니다. 아만다 멜링(Amanda Mealing )은 홀비 시티(Holby City )에서 6년간 근무한 후 2014년 코니 뷰챔프(Connie Beauchamp )로 Cament 에 합류했습니다. 닉 조던 배우 마이클 프렌치 는 홀비 시티 와 캐스트 모두에서 주연을 맡았고, 클라이브 맨틀 은 캐스트 를 떠난 지 2년 만인 1999년 홀비 시티 에서 마이크 배럿 역을 다시 맡았습니다.[12]
