그리스-팔레스타인 관계는 그리스 공화국과 팔레스타인 국가 사이의 양자 관계다. 두 나라 사이의 역사적 유대 때문에, 오늘날 그리스와 팔레스타인은 훌륭한 외교 관계를 누리고 있다.[1][2] 팔레스타인은 아테네에 대표 사무소를 두고 있으며 예루살렘에 있는 그리스 총영사관은 팔레스타인에 인가되어 있다. 두 나라는 동 지중해 가스 포럼의 회원국이다.

역사

그리스의 외교관계는 1981년 PLO와 함께 창설된 반면 이스라엘과의 관계는 1990년 미토타키스 휘하에서 그리스가 이스라엘을 공식 인정하기 전까지 영사적 수준에 그쳐 유지되었다.[3] 그리스는 조지 파판드레우(George Papandreou) 치하의 현 외교정책 형성 이후 가자지구의 플라티야 공습으로 인한 터키와의 이스라엘 관계 악화에 [4]이어 이스라엘과의 관계도 급속도로 개선되고 있다.

외교인정

그리스는 팔레스타인 대의에 대한 지지로 유명한 좌파 시리아당의 일원인 알렉시스 치프라스 당시 총리의 공약에도 불구하고 지정학적 분쟁이 많아 팔레스타인과의 관계를 완전히 공식화하지 못하고 있다.[citation needed]

2015년 12월, 헬레닉 의회는 마흐무드 압바스 대통령이 참석한 가운데 만장일치로 투표하여 1967년 6월 4일 팔레스타인의 주(州)[5][6]를 완전히 인정하도록 정부에 권고했다.

팔레스타인 문제

카롤로스 파풀리아스 대통령은 그리스가 궁극적으로 이스라엘과 함께 팔레스타인 국가 건설을 지지한다고 밝혔다.[7] 이전 정부 하에서 그리스는 팔레스타인의 대의명분을 확고히 지지한다는 평판을 얻었다.[8] 더 넓은 아랍-이스라엘 갈등 속에서 안드레아스 파판드레우는 유럽공동체의 어느 정부보다도 이스라엘에 대한 강경한 입장을 견지했다.[9]
