만노스-1-인산구아닐전달효소 베타는 사람에게 GMPPB [4]유전자에 의해 암호화되는 효소이다.
이 유전자는 GDP-만노스 피로인산가수분해효소를 코드하는 것으로 생각된다.이 효소는 만노오스-1-인산과 GTP를 N-결합 올리고당 생산에 관여하는 GDP-만노스로 변환하는 반응을 촉매한다.그 유전자는 두 개의 전사 [4]변형을 암호화한다.
