Foley Gallery

폴리 갤러리(Foley Gallery)는 마이클 폴리(Michael Foley)가 소유한 뉴욕 맨해튼의 현대 미술관이다.[1][2][3] 폴리 갤러리는 2004년 개관한 뒤 2014년 첼시 근교에서 로어 이스트사이드로 이전했다.[4] 폴리가 대표하는 예술가로는 조셉 데슬러 코스타, 와이어트 갤러리, 세이지 소히어, 마틴 클림마스, 사이먼 슈베르트, 헨리 뢰트위일러, 이나 장 등이 있다. 폴리는 이전에 로잘린드 솔로몬, 폴릭세니 파파페트로우, 라첼 섬프터, 행크 윌리스 토마스 등의 작품을 선보였다.[5][6]

배경

마이클 폴리(Michael Foley)는 2004년에 폴리 갤러리를 열었다.[7] 몇 년 전 폴리는 프레이시 브란트 전 감독(현 프라엔켈 갤러리 사장)[8]의 초청으로 미술품 거래를 시작했다.[9] 브란트의 지휘를 받는 동안 폴리는 사진작가 리처드 미스락, 아담 호들스, 스기모토 히로시와 친해졌다.[9] 폴리갤러리는 2015년과[10] 2018년 볼타 아트페어 당시 대표작가 사이먼 슈베르트의 작품을 전시했다.[11] 셰리 리틀필드는 2016년 폴리 갤러리에 이사로 입사했다.

북 론칭

2016년 11월, Steidl이 출판한 Henry Leutwyler의 Document가 Foley 갤러리에서 발매되었다. 다른 책 출판물들에는 Wyatt[12][13][14] Gallery의 유대인 보물, 제시카 Antola의 Circadian Graphics가 포함되어 있다.[15]
