딕슨 테크놀로지스(인도)는 노이다에 본사를 둔 인도의 전자제품 제조 서비스 기업이다. 삼성, 샤오미, 파나소닉, 필립스 등 기업들을 위한 텔레비전, 세탁기, 스마트폰, LED 전구, 배튼, 다운라이터, CCTV 보안 시스템 등의 계약 제조업체다.[3][4][5] 노이다, 데흐라둔, 티루파티 등에 10개 제조소를 두고 있으며, 인도 최대의 텔레비전, 세탁기, 전구 조립 공장도 갖추고 있다.[6][7] 이 회사는 2017년 공모 이후 BSE와 NSE에 상장돼 있다.[8][9]

역사

딕슨 테크놀로지스는 1993년 선일 바차니에 의해 설립되었다. 그의 아버지 순다르 바차니는 웨스턴 브랜드로 텔레비전을 제조해 왔으며, 웨스턴은 인도에서 최초로 컬러 텔레비전을 출시했다. 그의 사업은 나중에 다른 회사의 출현으로 인해 어려움을 겪었다.[10] 딕슨은 처음에 바티 에어텔을 위해 14인치 텔레비전, 세가 비디오 게임 콘솔, 필립스 비디오 레코더, 푸시버튼 전화기를 제조했다. 2000년대에 그 회사가 정부로부터 텔레비전 제조 계약을 따냈을 때 큰 돌파구가 마련되었다.[11] TV와 비디오 녹화기 외에 LG전자용 에어컨과 전자레인지, 다른 브랜드용 DVD플레이어도 생산하기 시작했다.[10]

딕슨은 2018년 샤오미와 티루파티 공장에서 LED TV를 제조하는 계약을 체결했다.[12]

딕슨은 2020년 1월 삼성과 현지 LED TV 생산을 위한 제휴를 맺었다.[13] 2020년 12월 딕슨의 자회사인 패젯전자가 모토로라용 스마트폰을 제조할 것으로 알려졌다.[14] 2021년 1월 딕슨은 인도 보아트 라이프스타일사의 무선 스피커를 생산하겠다고 발표했다.[15] 그 달 말, 파젯 전자는 노이다 공장에서 노키아 스마트폰 제조 계약을 HMD 글로벌과 체결했다.[16]
