데얀 수디치 OBE(Deyan Sudjic OBE, 1952년 9월 6일 출생)[3]는 영국의 작가 겸 방송인으로, 디자인과 건축 분야에 특화되어 있다. 그는 이전에 런던 디자인 박물관의 관장이었다.[4]

인생과 경력

수디치는 당시 웨스트 런던의 해머스미스에 기반을 둔 다이렉트 그랜트 문법 학교에서 교육을 받았다.[5][6] 그는 에든버러 대학에 다녔다.[6] 그는 런던의 액턴에서 자랐다; 유고슬라비아에서 온 이민자였던 그의 부모님은 집에서 세르보 크로아티아어로 말했다.[7] 그의 아버지는 BBC World Service에서 일했다.[8]

1970년, 10대 때, 그는 이듬해 외설 재판의 주제인 스쿨키즈 OZ에 기여했다.[9]

수디치는 The Observer, Kingston University의 예술, 디자인 및 건축학부 학장, 왕립예술대학 초빙교수, 도시시대자문위원회 공동의장을 역임했다.[4][10]

1983년, 그는 월간 건축 잡지인 Blueprint인 Peter Murray와 Simon Esterson과 공동 창간하여 잡지 편집자와 편집부장으로 자리를 옮겼다. 2000-04년부터 도무스의 편집장이었다. 2000년에 그는 OBE로 임명되었다.[11]

1999년 글래스고의 영국 건축디자인 도시 프로그램 감독, 2002년 베니스 건축비엔날레 감독 등을 지냈다. 수디치는 2006년에 디자인 박물관의 관장이 되었다.

2012년에 수디치는 창조 예술 대학으로부터 명예 학위를 받았다.[10]
