디펩티딜펩티드가수분해효소2 는 DPP7 [5] [6] [7] 유전자에 의해 인체 내에서 암호화되는 효소 이다.
이 유전자에 의해 코드된 단백질은 정지 림프구 에서 발현되는 프롤린 후 아미노펩티드가수분해효소 이다. 이 새로운 세린단백질가수분해효소 의 억제에 의해 교란되는 상태 인 아포토시스의 억제를 통해 휴식 중인 림프구를 유지한다. 이 효소는 프롤릴 카르복시펩티다아제 와의 강한 배열 상동성을 가지며 산성 및 중성 [7] pH 모두에서 활성이다.
