시장직에 대한 주민투표

2021년 12월 4일 치러진 선거에서도 주민투표가 실시되어 다음과 같은 질문이 있었다.이 질문에서는, Ryde시의 유권자가 시장을 4년 임기로 선출하고, 그 결과 13명(시장 포함)의 참의원 모델을 채용할 수 있는 민선 시장을 지지하십니까?최종 선언된 결과는 찬성 76.18%,[20] 반대 23.82%로 2024년으로 예정된 차기 지자체 선거부터 시장직이 직접 선출된다.

의회의 역사

1964년부터 2016년까지 Buckland & Druce 건축가의 Ryde Civic Centre(1964년)가 시의회 소재지였습니다.2021년에 철거되었습니다.
