Cajal은 Mare Neelitatis 북쪽에 있는 작은 달 충돌 분화구다.스페인 의사이자 노벨상 수상자인 산티아고 라몬 이 카잘의 이름을 따서 지어졌다.[1]용암 분화구 얀센의 남동쪽에 위치한 원형(지름 9km)의 컵 모양의 대형이다.카잘은 이전에 얀센 F로 지명되었다.또한 북서쪽으로는 도르사 바를로라고 명명된 주름 능선 시스템이 있다.
