나인 스토리 미디어 그룹 주식회사()는 2002년 9월 빈스 커미소(Vince Commisso), 스티브 야로즈(Steve Jarosz), 블레이크 토하나(Blake Tohana)가 설립한 캐나다의 미디어 제작, 애니메이션 스튜디오, 배급 회사입니다.

이 회사는 빈스 커미소와 스티븐 야로즈가 2002년 9월에 9 Story Entertainment로 설립하여 빈스가 핍과 빅 와이드 월드에서 작업할 수 있도록 했습니다.

2006년 9월 21일, 9 Story는 9 Story Enterprises로 알려진 전 Universal Studios 임원인 Natalie Osborne이 이끄는 국제 유통 부서를 시작했습니다.[8]

2015년 8월 18일, 9 Story Media Group은 더블린에 본사를 둔 애니메이션 스튜디오 Brown Bag Films를 인수했습니다.[15][16]

2015년 10월 6일, 9Story는 미국의 장난감 제조업체인 Mattel과 2017년 계획된 출시를 위해 HIT Entertainment로부터 라이선스를 받아 Barney & Friends와 Angelina Ballerina를 재출시/재출시하기로 합의했다고 발표했지만, 그 이후로 제작 또는 출시에 대한 어떠한 소식도 듣지 못했습니다.[17][18]

2016년 5월 25일 나인스토리는 가필드와 프렌즈의 글로벌 배급권을 취득했습니다.[19][20]

2016년 10월 21일, 9 Story의 배급 부문인 9 Story Enterprises는 9 Story Distribution International로 브랜드를 변경하고 토론토에서 더블린으로 사업을 이전했습니다.[21]

2017년 10월 15일, 9Story는 브라운 백 필름스에서 토론토 2D 애니메이션 스튜디오의 브랜드를 변경했으며, 아일랜드 스튜디오는 더블린, 맨체스터, 토론토 전역에서 2D 및 3D 애니메이션 모두를 위한 9Story의 제작 부문이 되었습니다. 동시에 브라운 백 필름은 9 Story의 주요 부문 중 하나가 되었고, 9 Story Distribution International과 함께 9 Story의 주요 부문 중 하나가 되었습니다.[22][23]

2019년 4월 1일, 9Story는 230시간 분량의 프로그래밍을 배포하는 계약을 스콜라스틱 코퍼레이션과 체결하여 당시 9Story의 전체 콘텐츠 라이브러리를 4,000시간 분량으로 확장했습니다.[30] 2022년 빈스 커미소는 존 갈웨이와 함께 제10회 캐나다 스크린 어워드에서 캐나다 영화 및 텔레비전 아카데미 이사회 헌정상 수상자로 선정되었습니다.[31]

2024년 2월 5일 9Story는 캐나다의 유통 카탈로그, 개발 슬레이트, 프로덕션 등 동료 회사인 포트폴리오 엔터테인먼트를 인수했습니다.[7]

2024년 3월 12일, 스콜라스틱은 9Story의 완전한 경제적 이익과 소수 의결권을 1억 8,600만 달러에 취득할 것이라고 발표했습니다. 거래는 스콜라스틱의 2025년 1분기(2024년 6월 1일 시작)에 종료될 것입니다.[32][33]
