W 하이드레이는 히드라자리에 있는 미라형 변광성이다.이 별은 태양으로부터 320광년 떨어진 태양으로부터 75파섹에서 120파섹 사이의 태양 근방에 거의 위치해 있다.그것은 5.6~10의 가시적 겉보기 등급 범위를 가지고 있다.근적외선 J밴드에서는 -1.7의 크기를 가지며 [4]밤하늘에서 7번째로 밝은 별이며 시리우스보다 더 밝다.

물과 먼지 가리개
