빙하 국립공원의 어퍼 킨틀라 호수 순찰실은 시골의 시골 통나무 오두막이다.1931년 표준 국립공원관리계획 G913에 따라 지어진 이 오두막은 싱글룸을 갖추고 있다.[2]이 오두막은 옐로우스톤 국립공원에서 사용하던 비슷한 오두막들을 본떠 만든 것인데, 이는 미국 산림청이 사용하는 오두막과 비슷해, 트래퍼들의 오두막과 닮았다.[3]어퍼킨틀라호 순찰실은 실제로 어퍼킨틀라호에서 서쪽으로 약 3.2km 떨어진 킨틀라호 동쪽 해안에 위치해 있다.
