빙하 국립공원의 쿼츠 호수 순찰실은 건축적으로나 역사적으로나 이 지역을 순찰하는 경비원들을 위한 하루의 여행(8~12마일)의 간격을 두고 있는 피난처로서 중요한 자원이다.국립공원 서비스 루스틱 통나무집은 1930년 지역 건축가 오스틴 와이커트가 국립공원 서비스 표준계획 G913을 이용해 지었다.[2][3]그 오두막은 콰츠 호 서쪽 해안과 인접해 있다.
